Louis the Child, a Chicago-based duo, made some moves last week and recently just released their new EP titled “Love is Alive”, and I’ll say that I’m definitely loving what they’ve got going on here. Listen to the album-titled single “Love is Alive” above (one of my favorites), or check out the rest of the album below. Read More
I’ve been low-key listening to Goldlink for a while now, and always knew he was going to get big. Today marks a mile stone for the rapper, as he drops his first studio album titled “At What Cost”. Prior to release, he’s leaked a few songs, such as “Crew” (which we featured last week… shit’s hot) as well as “SummaTime” (the day before release) and both come highly recommend. This is one you definitely don’t want to miss, and be sure to keep up with Goldlink in the future; this guy is going places quick.
Purchase the album here and be sure to let us know what you think!
I don’t know about anyone else, but I am super excited for Summer this year. Not sure what it is, but I’m really looking forward to some great weather, plenty of beach and plenty of sun. I think it was either all the rain California got, or the fact that Santa Barbara actually had a winter and the temperature wasn’t 65 and sunny all of January (unacceptable SB, get it together…) Read More
Hey everyone, hope you all had a wonderful week and your Friday is going absolutely swimmingly! I know I always find myself saying this at the end of the week, but thank God it’s Friday, am i rite? It’s been a pretty nuts around here for me, and the days fly by when there is so much going on. Work work work, gym gym gym, eat eat eat, sleep. That’s about what life’s looking like right now, but who can complain when you can call Santa Barbara your home. I see a couple bevies (most likely Pabst, you already know) and some beach lined up for this weekend, and hope you all have something fun and relaxing planned as well.
It’s not even half way through March and already my musical taste buds have be satisfied with some seriously tasty beats.
In case you missed it, CRSSD had it’s bi-annual music fest at the lovely Waterfront Park in Sunny San Diego (although it was cloudy the first day and rained the second…) with an I N C R E D I B L E lineup. Music from Justin Martin, Louis Futon, Lane 8, Snake Hips, Claude VonStroke, Dusky, Flume and a whole lot of more kept myself and thousands of others seriously dancing.
