It’s not even half way through March and already my musical taste buds have be satisfied with some seriously tasty beats.
In case you missed it, CRSSD had it’s bi-annual music fest at the lovely Waterfront Park in Sunny San Diego (although it was cloudy the first day and rained the second…) with an I N C R E D I B L E lineup. Music from Justin Martin, Louis Futon, Lane 8, Snake Hips, Claude VonStroke, Dusky, Flume and a whole lot of more kept myself and thousands of others seriously dancing.
If you haven’t been, I highly recommend checking this festival out. At a reasonably affordable price tag and featuring some of the best underground and big-name artists, definitely put this one on your calendar for this Fall and Spring ’18.
But the fun didn’t stop there. Everyone’s favorite Santa Barbara night club, EOS Lounge, has been really on top of their shit this year since partnering with Insomniac events (like EDC Insomniac… yeah, that one). This last weekend ought to have really put them on the map, and if you’ve been sleeping on it, wake up. Techno legend Green Velvet made an appearance and threw down one of THE MOST, if not MOST fire, fuego, lit af, flame sets SB has ever had. We’re all still definitely buzzing from this one and I know I can’t wait to see what the club has in store for the rest of the year.
Since this is a music blog, here’s some beats I was really digging from this years CRSSD as well as a few other favorites this week.
